APSIG Fellowship Call 2026

Shaping the Future of Internet Governance in Asia Pacific

Applications are now open for the Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG) Fellowship 2026. Each year, APSIG brings together a diverse group of emerging leaders from across the region to build the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to shape a more inclusive Internet.

Eligibility Criteria

1. This Fellowship is open to individuals from the Asia Pacific region who are 18 years old or above with a strong interest in Internet governance.
2. Professionals, academics, researchers, civil society members, and representatives from governmental and non-governmental organizations.
3. Proficiency in English is required, as APSIG sessions will be conducted in English.
4. Relevant demonstrated knowledge, background and interest, e.g. attending webinars, relevant courses, or meetings, whether remote or in-person.
5. Willingness to adhere to APSIG’s expected standards of behavior.
6. APSIG alumni are not eligible to apply.
7. Conference hoppers or people who habitually attend events but do not contribute to the community will not be preferred.
8. Females, Persons with Disabilities, and other marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.
9. Motivation and a post-school community engagement plan are highly desirable.
10. Staff members, blood relatives, and any other close association with APSIG sponsors, Executive Committee, or Fellowship Committee members are not eligible.
