The tenth Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, immediately ahead of the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum.
25 fellows selected, from 20 economies.
Twelve women and thirteen men in the cohort.
Four days of Training of Trainers, 7 to 10 October 2025.
Held back-to-back with APrIGF, so fellows could carry straight on to the regional forum.
About the edition
APSIG is a Training of Trainers programme that brings together emerging Internet leaders from across the Asia Pacific region. The 2025 curriculum was built around interactive sessions, expert-led discussion and collaborative learning, with the explicit aim of producing people who can go on to teach Internet governance themselves.
The edition covered the Internet governance issues bearing on the Asia Pacific specifically, gave fellows direct access to speakers and practitioners in the field, and built in networking time with peers from across the region. Scheduling it immediately before APrIGF in the same city let fellows move from the classroom into a live regional policy forum within days.
