Eligibility Criteria

  1. This Fellowship is open to individuals from the Asia Pacific region with a strong interest in Internet governance.
  2. Professionals, academics, researchers, civil society members, and representatives from governmental and non-governmental organizations.
  3. Proficiency in English is required, as APSIG sessions will be conducted in English.
  4. Relevant demonstrated knowledge, background and interest e.g. attending webinars, relevant courses, meetings, whether remote or in-person.
  5. Willingness to adhere to the APSIG’s expected standards of behavior.
  6. APSIG alumni are not eligible to apply.
  7. Conference hoppers or people who habitually attend events but do not contribute to the community will not be preferred.
  8. Females, Persons with Disabilities and other marginalized communities are encouraged.
  9. Motivation and post-school community engagement plan is highly desirable.
